What is TAQADAM Accelerator?
TAQADAM is a Saudi-based startup accelerator, founded in 2016 by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in partnership with SAB, designed for founders aiming to rapidly grow their businesses over six months. Through non-dilutive funding, mentorship, and a strong network, founders are empowered to accelerate growth, engage new customers, and attract investors. Upon completing the program, selected graduates are eligible for additional non-dilutive follow-on funding.
Program Process
TAQADAM is a highly competitive accelerator for startups. Each year, over 1,000 applications undergo a thorough evaluation by a selection committee, which assesses the founding team, product, scalability potential, and alignment with the Saudi market. From this pool, up to 30 high-potential startups are selected to participate in a pre-accelerator Bootcamp. Following the Bootcamp, the most promising teams are invited to continue in the program and receive $40,000 in non-dilutive funding. Participants then engage in a 6-month hybrid program, offering mentor-led guidance and specialized resources designed to position founders for long-term success.

Detailed schedules are shared after program kickoff. Participation in these sessions is mandatory. In addition, each team will receive bi-weekly thirty-minute mentorship meetings, scheduled based on participant and mentor availability.
